CIVIL JUDGE CLASS - II
A. ONLINE PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION (No. of question-100, Time- 2:00 Hour, Marks- 100)
The online Preliminary Examination shall be of the duration of Two Hours consisting of 100 objective type questions from the following:-
1) The Indian Penal Code, 1860
2) The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908
3) The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973
4) The Indian Evidence Act, 1872
5) The Constitution of India, 1950
6) The Transfer of Property Act, 1882
7) The Contract Act, 1872
8) The Limitation Act, 1963
9) The Chhattisgarh Rent Control Act, 2011
10) The Court Fees Act, 1870
11) The Specific Relief Act, 1963
12) The Registration Act, 1908
13) The Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959
14) The Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881
15) The Chhattisgarh Excise Act, 1915
B. MAIN EXAMINATION (WRITTEN) (Time- 3:00 Hour, Marks-100)
For Main Examination, the relatively more meritorious candidates from among those who appeared in the Preliminary Examination in the ratio of 1:10 having regard to the number of vacancies shall be called for final examination to be conducted shall consist of;
1) Framing of issues and writing of Judgement in Civil Cases (MM- 40)
2) Framing of issues and writing of Judgement in Criminal Cases (MM- 40)
3) Translation:- a) English to Hindi- (MM- 10)
b) Hindi to English- (MM- 10)
C. VIVA-VOCE:-
Having regards to the number of Vacancies, relatively more meritorious candidates from among those who appeared in the Main Examination shall be called in the ratio of 1:3 for the Viva Voce. The maximum marks for Viva-Voce would be 15.
